Letters are jumbled everywhere. It’s your challenge to combine them into words!

Combine different letters to make as many words as you can. Write the new words on your Word Whizz sheet under the correct column, based on how many letters are in the word.

Moving on:

Once you have finished, choose an extension card and complete the activity.

  • Sentences: Use five of the words you found, in sentences.
  • Definitions: Choose five of the words you found and find their definitions.
  • Rhyming: Select six of your words. Now find new words that rhyme with each of them.
  • Single Sentence: Make one sentence using as many of your words as you can.

Print, cut and laminate this resource so you can use it during literacy rotational activities.

Great resource! Any chance it could be in an editable format though? Thanks 🙂
