Equivalent Ratios Worksheet

Are your students in need of additional practice with finding equivalent ratios? Teach Starter has created a set of math mazes where your students can have fun and learn at the same time!

With this set of math mazes, students will work their way through 3 different mazes where they must use multiplication or division to find an equivalent ratio. All ratios in these math mazes are presented with a colon. As your students are navigating through the mazes, they may find themselves at a dead end! Encourage them to go back and find the correct path to make their way to the end.

An answer key is included with your download to make grading fast and easy!

Tips for Differentiation + Scaffolding

In addition to independent student work time, use this worksheet as an activity for:

  • Guided math groups
  • Lesson warm-up
  • Lesson wrap-up
  • Early finishers
  • Homework assignment
  • Whole-class review (via smartboard)

For students who need an additional challenge, encourage them to list additional equivalent ratios for each rectangle on the back of their paper.

If there are students who need additional support, provide them with a multiplication chart to help with basic facts. Also, work with students to determine if the numbers in the ratio are getting bigger or smaller. This can help them identify if multiplication or division is used to create the ratio.
