Teaching Facts about the Executive Branch? Yikes!

The United States government is a complicated system that is difficult to cover with young learners. It is confusing to identify who does what, who is involved, and how it all works! The President, Vice President, and Presidential Cabinet, along with many other political actors, comprise the U.S. government’s executive branch.

Learning about the different branches and what they do is tough! This Executive Branch teaching resource is designed to help your learners discover the following:

  • What does the executive branch do for the country?
  • Who is in control of the executive branch?
  • What powers are held by the executive branch?
  • And more!
