Vocabulary is critical for students to become stronger readers. That’s why it is so important to give them plenty of practice, and plenty of fun! Using Vocab improvement games like this one can help your students be more engaged and retain more of their learning in the classroom.
Through this vocabulary review game, players will practice adding common prefixes to words by choosing a card and reading the word. They’ll then identify a matching prefix for the word on the game board and cover it with one of their manipulatives. The player who connects four squares in a row first is the winner!
