Printable Graduation Certificate for Your Diploma Ceremonies

It just doesn’t feel like graduation unless students are getting a certificate or a diploma to show off for the photos — and frame for the wall of pride at home! This editable diploma template has been designed with spaces to easily add the student’s name and the name of your school. Plus, there’s even space for your signature as a teacher to authenticate that certificate, plus a section to add the date of the ceremony!

The editable files are designed to be printed on 8 1/2 by 11 paper, and include pre-made certificates for kindergarten graduation, as well as certificates labeled for preschool and 5th grade. Save time while creating a memento your students and their parents or guardians will treasure for years to come.

Best of all, you don’t have to worry about ordering certificates only to find you’re one student short. Just print out another diploma, and you’re ready to rock and roll!

How to Use These Diploma Templates

Click on the download button above to access your certificate in a Google Slides format.

Choose a template from one of the 15 color options, edit the title to suit your needs, add the student’s name, school name, and date. Print out on heavy cardstock so they’ll stand up to the test of time, and sign your name.

Alternatively, you can upload an image of your signature to add to each diploma to save your hands from having to sign each of the certificates one at a time.

Ideas for Presenting Graduation Certificates to Students

Looking for some ideas to make presenting the certificates extra special? Here are some things to consider:

  1. Ask your administrator if they would play guest presenter for the ceremony. This will allow you to step back and wrangle your students! If not, ask a parent volunteer if they can help you get your students lined up.
  2. If a member of the graduating class has a parent or grandparent who works at the school, why not ask them to step in for their presentation.
  3. Playing a song during the graduation certificate presentation? Make sure you set up a playlist that will keep playing long enough for each student to be announced, so the students with those Y and Z last names aren’t standing there in silence!
  4. Ask guests at the ceremony to hold their applause until the end so each students’ name can be heard clearly as it’s announced.
