Ideas for Presenting Graduation Certificates to Students
Looking for some ideas to make presenting the certificates extra special? Here are some things to consider:
- Ask your administrator if they would play guest presenter for the ceremony. This will allow you to step back and wrangle your students! If not, ask a parent volunteer if they can help you get your students lined up.
- If a member of the graduating class has a parent or grandparent who works at the school, why not ask them to step in for their presentation.
- Playing a song during the graduation certificate presentation? Make sure you set up a playlist that will keep playing long enough for each student to be announced, so the students with those Y and Z last names aren’t standing there in silence!
- Ask guests at the ceremony to hold their applause until the end so each students’ name can be heard clearly as it’s announced.
