An activity to use when teaching your students how to infer information from images.
Inferring is a valuable skill for students to apply when engaging with and responding to texts.
This activity provides an inference scenario picture and a series of questions which will prompt the students to answer questions about what is going on in the image. Then they must decide whether they have made an inference or a prediction in giving their answers.
This activity is great to use with your guided reading groups or when placed in a reading center.
