Looking for Free Landform Project Ideas? We Can Help!

Landform brochures, trifolds, and other foldables are excellent ways for students to present their learning in a fun, exciting way. They build vocabulary and interest students in gathering information about a particular topic. If you’re looking for creative ideas for ways to teach your class about maps and landforms, this is the place!

Students will use geography books or websites to research and gather information about different world landforms. Once their research is complete, they will use this template to create an informational brochure highlighting their learning.

Through this free landforms activity, students will show the ability to research, define, and describe different landforms. Essential questions covered in this project are:

  • What are examples of landforms around the world?
  • What is the definition of a landform?
  • How do landforms help the people who live in or around them?
  • What is the climate like in or near this landform?
  • What animals and plants live in or near this landform?
