Multi-Digit Division Worksheets

Help your students master dividing multi-digit numbers with our set of riddle worksheets! This resource includes three different multi-digit riddle worksheets. This set of 3 worksheets requires students to solve 12 problems and use the corresponding letters to solve a riddle. These practice pages will have your students laughing and learning while dividing with 2- and 3-digit divisors.

An answer key is included with your download to make grading fast and easy!  

Tips for Differentiation + Scaffolding 

In addition to independent student work time, use this worksheet as an activity for:

For students who need a bit of a challenge, encourage them to create their own riddles for their classmates to solve. Students can create different equations with varying complexities. 

If there are students who need additional support, provide them with a multiplication chart to assist with simple calculations. Additionally, encourage students to list the multiples on a separate piece of paper so they can visually see how many times the divisor will go into the dividend.

Because this resource includes an answer sheet, we recommend you print one copy of the entire file. Then, make photocopies of the blank worksheet for students to complete. 

Turn this teaching resource into a sustainable activity by printing on cardstock and slipping it into a dry-erase sleeve. Students can record their answers with a whiteboard marker, then erase and reuse them. 

Additionally, project the worksheet onto a screen and work through it as a class by having students record their answers in their notebooks.
