Spooky season is upon us! We can feel it, and we know your students are feeling it too. They’re excited about the creepy decorations, the spooky classroom activities, and oh so interested in all the creeping, crawling creatures of the night…including spiders!

Have students work in pairs or small groups to read the text and complete the activities.

Provide read-aloud accommodations as needed.

➕ Challenge Fast Finishers

Encourage students to read other nonfiction texts and identify facts and details in the text.

Have students write a nonfiction book and share it with the class.

🧑‍🏫 Group Learning

Project the pages onto a screen and work through them as a class by having students record their answers in their notebooks or mini whiteboards.
