What is a Reflexive Pronoun? Let’s Find Out!

Reflexive pronouns are used to refer back to the subject of a sentence. They often end in ‘self’ or “selves.” All personal pronouns have a matching reflexive pronoun.

This worksheet provides students with practice identifying reflexive pronouns and writing sentences that contain those pronouns

What are Some Reflexive Pronoun Examples?

Some of the most common reflexive pronouns are

  • myself,
  • yourself,
  • himself,
  • herself,
  • themselves,
  • itself,
  • ourselves
  • and more!

This worksheet helps students to understand reflexive pronouns. They will match the correct pronouns with sentences and then complete sentences using reflexive pronouns.
