PDF | 1 page | Grades: 2 - 6

A fun, hands-on Read Across America activity using a die and chart to create a silly book title.

Use this teaching resource to create a silly book title.

How to use this resource:

  1. Roll the die. Match the number rolled to a row on the chart, and circle the number in the ‘1st Roll’ column.
  2. Roll again. Match the number to a row on the chart, and circle the word in the ‘2nd Roll’ column.
  3. Continue in this same manner until you have something circled in each column.
  4. Write your silly book title at the bottom of the page.

This resource works great as a writing center activity.
