Spring Story Time! Spring Writing Prompts for the Classroom 🐰

Egg-cellent writing is only an activity away!

Help your students explore their narrative writing skills with these spring story starters.

This activity is wonderful to do in the lead-up to the change of season or even the Easter break. What a fun way to keep your students’ brains kicking (or hopping)!

Choose from one of three story starters:

🥕The Day the Carrots Turned Blue

🐰 How to Catch an Easter Bunny

🥚 Who Framed Buster Bunny?

Then, let your students go wild! Each page contains a story-starting prompt and writing lines for students. There’s even a blank extra page for those who need it.

Tips for Differentiation + Scaffolding

In addition to individual student work time, use this worksheet as a:

  • guided center writing activity
