Use this engaging interactive PowerPoint when exploring the capacity of containers.
The quiz contains 10 questions. Each question contains two images. The students must select which container holds more or less (depending on the question).
When answering the questions, it is important to remind your students to visualize the actual size of the real-life container. The images in the presentation are not drawn to scale.
The last slide invites the students to brainstorm some objects that hold more or less than a drinking glass. Students could draw pictures of these containers in their workbooks, or their ideas could be recorded in a class anchor chart.
