World War 2 Plans, Slide Decks, and More!

In elementary school, teaching Social Studies can be difficult, especially in upper grades when the content becomes more complex and the events become more graphic. It’s hard to find materials that are written in the reading range for students in grades 4-6. Sometimes the content is gruesome, and upper-level resources spare no detail. In conversations with our teacher friends, we’ve devised a solution to the lack of 5th and 6th-grade materials about World War II.

This resource is perfect for teaching fourth to sixth-grade students about the events and concepts leading up to the United States becoming involved in World War II. This interactive teaching slide presentation provides the scaffolding and discussion opportunities needed to teach WW2 facts to kids. It features “Stop and Jot” opportunities for students to take notes, turn-and-talk discussion questions, and fun animations that make learning a bit more fun!
