Start Your Year Off Right With a Game of “Would You Rather…?”

Are you looking for a fun back-to-school activity that will get your students moving? This whole-class activity encourages students to express their preferences and likes in a fun way. To extend this activity further, consider counting how many students like each activity. 

To play, project the slides in front of the class. Students will be presented with two choices. After deciding which option they prefer, students will either put their hands on their heads or in the air.

Students will answer 16 different “Would You Rather” questions through this activity as they get to know their classmates and teacher.

🆘 Support Struggling Students

For students who need some support, consider pulling a small group of students to provide think time before playing the game as a large group. This will allow students to feel confident with their answers and continue participating.

➕ Challenge Fast Finishers

For students who need a bit of a challenge, encourage them to develop their own set of “Would You Rather” questions.
