Encourage student self-reflection with this end-of-the-year glyph.
End of the Year Activity – Year in Review Glyph
This end-of-the-year activity will get your students to reflect on the past school year. They will think about how many friends they made, their favorite book, and more! Students will then create a glyph using the key to represent themselves and their year.
To complete this activity, students will receive a checklist page and a template page. Students will work through the questions and draw/color according to their answers and the key.
Tips for Differentiation + Scaffolding
In addition to independent student work time, use this worksheet as an activity for:
- Lesson warm-up
- Lesson wrap-up
- Fast finishers
- Homework assignment
For students who need a bit of a challenge, encourage students to create their own question sheet and coloring/drawing guide.
If there are students who need additional support, encourage partners to work together or complete in a 1:1 setting.
