A worksheet to assist students in creating their own binary codes.

Use this teaching resource when studying binary coding in your classroom.

This worksheet has been designed to introduce students to writing in binary code and translating it from digital numbers.

Implement this teaching resource in your classroom by:

  • using the first worksheet, which provides an example for students to create their own cards
  • using the second worksheet in stand alone activities to allow students to create codes for buddies to solve, or translate data off the board and
  • cutting up and distributing the cards to create matching games.
