Master Irregular Plurals with a Fun Escape Room Adventure

Unlike most nouns, which become plural by adding -s or -es, irregular plurals play by their own rules! That’s why it’s important to explicitly teach these tricky words and their plural forms in a fun and memorable way. And what could be more fun and memorable than an escape room game!

This irregular plurals escape room game has been designed by our team to get your students excited about plural spelling rules. It contains a colourful slide deck and a student workbook that guide learners through four palace rooms, each containing a puzzle that tests their knowledge of irregular plurals. As students solve each challenge, they collect a number. When all four numbers are combined correctly, the treasure chest unlocks… just before the palace guests arrive!

By gamifying learning, teachers can reduce stress around grammar practice and create an environment where students are eager to participate and succeed.
