Library Scavenger Hunt – Lower Years

PDF, Google Slides | 1 page|Grades: 1 - 3

A fun scavenger hunt for students to do in the library.

Use this library scavenger hunt with your students when exploring the library at the start of the year or a fun way to discover new books!

Your students will search for different types of books based on the descriptions in the list. Can you find …

… a book with a bird on the cover?

… a book about shapes?

… a book with no words?

Group your students into pairs to promote collaboration and teamwork working together to find the listed books.

If your library is lucky enough to have tablet devices, set up your students with a copy of the Google Slide version of the scavenger hunt. The students can then share their list with you digitally!

Use the drop-down menu to choose between the colour, black and white, or Google Slide version.

Check out the upper years version of the scavenger hunt below.
