Australia and Its Neighbours: New Caledonia
While the continent of Australia is also a single country, it is surrounded by many islands that we consider to be our neighbours. One such island nation is New Caledonia.
New Caledonia is located to the east of Australia in the South Pacific Ocean. It is one of thirteen overseas French territories (territories outside of Europe). The main island is Grande Terre and the capital city is Noumea.
