Persuasive Writing Worksheets – Would You Rather

Make persuasive writing fun and engaging with our Persuasive writing worksheets. Use the would you rather worksheets to encourage students to think critically, form opinions, and explain their reasoning in a clear and structured way. In one example, students decide whether they would rather have two new stuffed animals or two hours of playtime. They are then asked to express their choice and justify it with persuasive reasoning.

  • Students are presented with a simple, age‑appropriate scenario.
  • They choose one option and explain why they prefer it.
  • The activity encourages them to use persuasive language, reasoning, and supporting details.
  • Updated worksheets now include a variety of different topics to keep lessons fresh and engaging.

This resource is a great way to introduce persuasive writing in a playful, accessible format.
