Phoneme Match-Up Activity - rr, r, wr
A set of fifteen phoneme game cards focusing on rr, r and wr.
Print, laminate and cut out the pictures and word cards.
You may like to use these cards for a number of different activities or classroom games such as:
- In small groups, students need to match each picture with its word. Next, with a whiteboard marker they must write in the missing phonemes.
- In small groups, students play memory, matching the picture with its word.
- In small groups, students play snap, matching the picture with its word.

Love this! Would love if this included ‘rh’ extension diagraph as well! For rhombus, rhyme, rhino etc 🙂

Thanks so much for your suggestion Emily. I’ll see what I can get the designers to do over the next week.
