Make weather predictions, create a weather report and write about the weather with this set of printable worksheets.
Foundation and Year 1 Science Worksheets
This set of printable worksheets includes various activities designed to help students enhance their understanding of weather and its impact on daily activities during different types of weather. The worksheets included in this pack are:
- Weather Observations – Students will create a 5-day forecast by drawing and labelling the weather for each day. Students will then record the actual weather for each day underneath.
- My Weather Report – Students will record the day of the week, weather conditions and if it is hot or cold. Picture prompts and terms are provided to guide students.
- Weather Writing – Students will write what they like to do during different types of weather (sunny, rainy, stormy and cold) and draw a picture for each.
Tips for Differentiation + Scaffolding
For students who need an additional challenge, elaborate on their writing responses to include what they wear during each time of weather condition.
If students need additional support, consider pairing them up with a classmate or completing the activity with the help of a teacher.
