Adding and Subtracting Decimals Worksheet

Are you looking for a fun activity your students can complete to practice their decimal computation skills? This fun mystery image worksheet will give your students plenty of practice while using the color guide to reveal a mystery image. Since this worksheet has quite a few problems, consider using this as a fast finisher activity or something that students can work on throughout the week.

With this color-by-number worksheet, students will practice solving problems that involve adding and subtracting decimals through the hundredths place.

This adding and subtracting decimals worksheet downloads as a printable PDF or editable Google Slides version. An answer key is included with your download to make grading fast and easy!

Differentiated Versions of This Adding and Subtracting Decimals Worksheet

To make differentiation easier, we’ve created two versions of these adding and subtracting decimals mystery pictures. The level is marked by stars in the upper right-hand corner. The lower-level version has one star, and the on-level version is marked with two stars. The included color key can be used for both levels.

Encourage students who need a bit of a challenge to use the 2 ★star★ version of this resource. The problems on this version are mainly those that require regrouping. Students can also try to make their own mini mystery image worksheet for a classmate to solve.

For students who need a bit of support, consider using the 1 ★star★ version of this resource. This level is limited to addition and subtraction problems without regrouping. Additionally, this activity can be completed over time rather than in one sitting.
