Why is Dramatic Play Important?

The dramatic play center is an area in the classroom where students can pretend, imagine, and be creative. This is powerful for our little learners. Students can pretend to be anyone and do anything! Through this type of play, students can learn and develop skills in all learning domains (language, literacy, math, science, social studies, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, and social skills).
