Use this resource to practice retell with your students.
Print out the activity cards on cardstock, cut them out, and store in a resealable bag.
Students must put the picture cards in order based on the literary text, Jack and the Beanstalk, and then use the cards to retell the text in a meaningful way.
We have included a set of text cards for students to use as a self-check if you would like or to read to your students before they complete the activity.
This activity works great when used as a partner activity in a reading center.
