Introduce the concept of ‘multiple lines of symmetry’ to your Grade Fours with this match-up worksheet set.

Symmetry Worksheet – Exploring Lines of Symmetry

Use this double-sided worksheet to introduce the concept of some shapes containing more than one line of symmetry. Students will need to examine each shape provided, before drawing in the lines of symmetry for each shape (where they exist).

Next, students will use a ruler to draw a line between the shape itself to the numeral representing how many lines of symmetry that shape has.

An answer sheet is provided for easy marking!

Our “Symmetry Worksheet – Exploring Lines of Symmetry” is designed with primary teachers, in mind, making it the ideal tool to introduce young learners to the world of symmetry.

So, why wait? Embark on a symmetrical adventure with your students today! Grab your copy of this worksheet and watch as your young learners unravel the mysteries of symmetry one line at a time.
