Use ratio reasoning to practice converting length measurements with this worksheet.

Let’s Practice How to Convert Length!

Are your students practicing converting units within the customary and metric measurement system? Whether converting between meters and kilometers or yards and miles, this math skill is essential for many everyday scenarios. Use our measurement conversion worksheet in your class today to give students confidence with converting length!

Students will use ratio reasoning with this worksheet to convert metric and customary measurement units. Additionally, students will convert and compare units within the same unit and solve conversion word problems.

An answer key is included with your download to make grading fast and easy!

Tips for Differentiation + Scaffolding

Encourage students who need an additional challenge to create a third equivalent measurement of a different unit. For example, if students convert between inches and feet, encourage them to determine how many yards this would equal.

If students need a bit of support, encourage them to stick with one measurement system. Students can convert metric or customary units to practice converting within that system.
