Number Ordering Puzzles - Halloween Theme
A fun and engaging set of 6 number puzzles to help students with counting.
Use this Halloween themed teaching resource when learning to count and order numbers.
For best use of this resource:
- print each number ordering puzzle
- cut out the number puzzle picture then cut out the individual strips
- laminate each strip and store each puzzle in its own ziploc bag.
Use the number ordering puzzles as a math center activity or as an individual task.
Common Core Curriculum alignment
- CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.K.CC.A.1
Count to 100 by ones and by tens.
- CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.K.CC.A.3
Write numbers from 0 to 20. Represent a number of objects with a written numeral 0-20 (with 0 representing a count of no objects).
- CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.1.NBT.A.1
Count to 120, starting at any number less than 120. In this range, read and write numerals and represent a number of objects with a written numeral.
