This resource consists of a STEM Project and a Math Game!
- Part 1 of the activity is a STEM challenge asking students to build a set of goalposts given size requirements and a set of materials. Then students will make a paper football to use during the game. Once students have set up their “football field” with their partners, they play the card game.
- Part 2 of the project is to play the card game. Students flip over a domino, count the dots on each side of the domino and multiply those two numbers. Students race to say the product aloud first to earn chances to kick a field goal. Play continues until the dominoes are gone, and students complete the directions in the game to determine the winner.
