If you’re knee-deep in a persuasive writing unit, then there’s little doubt that you’ve been teaching your students about persuasive writing techniques. These handy little writing tools are the cornerstones of any persuasive essay, working their magic to convince the reader to agree with the author’s viewpoint.

This word search has been designed to help immerse your students in the vocabulary related to persuasive writing. As students complete the puzzle, they will subconsciously become more familiar with techniques such as emotive words, exaggeration and the rule of three.
