Sorting Senses! 5 Senses Card Game

Help your youngest learners explore the world around them with this hands-on 5 Senses card game! Designed just for kindergarten students, this activity invites children to look closely at everyday objects and decide which of the five senses they would use to observe them.

With its clear, relatable images and simple design, this 5 Senses Card Game is the perfect way to build early science observation skills.

Printable 5 Senses Task Cards or Clip Cards

This download includes 20 printable 5 Senses task cards, each featuring a clear picture, such as a flower, a whistle, popcorn, or a soft blanket. On each card, students must determine whether they would see, hear, smell, taste, or touch the object, or use a combination of senses. A recording sheet is also included, allowing students to color in the matching senses for each card.

These cards can be used as traditional task cards with a recording sheet, or you can add clothespins so students can use them as clip cards in a science center.
