How To Create Your Summer Bucket List Flipbook

Use this narrative writing template in the weeks leading up to the end of the school year.

Students will go through each page, reflecting on the things they want to do this summer by drawing a picture and/or writing a short paragraph, including a:

1. Places they want to visit
2. Things they want to do
3. People they want to see
4. Hobbies they want to learn
5. Games they want to learn
6. Books they want to read

When students are finished with each activity, they’ll cut and staple the pages together to assemble the flipbook.

Easily Prepare This End-of-Year Flipbook Activity

This resource includes the option to print in color or black and white.

You can also turn this teaching resource into a sustainable activity! Print a few copies on cardstock and slip them into dry-erase sleeves. Students can record their answers with a dry-erase marker, then erase and reuse them instead of turning them into a flipbook.

Additionally, project a page onto a screen and work through it as a class by having students record their answers in their journals.
