Understanding factors and multiples is an important part of developing number sense and mathematical reasoning. As students investigate common factors, common multiples and divisibility, they build the skills needed to solve increasingly complex number problems.

This factors and multiples escape room transforms maths practise into an exciting lunar adventure. Students work through a series of challenges involving factors, highest common factors (HCF), lowest common multiples (LCM) and divisibility rules as they collect clues and unlock codes to help complete their mission.

The activity includes a variety of challenge types, including true-or-false questions, a lowest common multiple maze, multiple-choice questions and problem-solving tasks. This variety keeps students engaged while providing meaningful opportunities to apply their knowledge in different contexts.
