Easily put your students in groups of three and practise maths skills with a set of printable Fraction, Decimal and Percent Grouping Cards.

It’s Easy With Fraction, Decimal, Percent Grouping Cards

Make math review easy and grouping effortless with this set of Fraction, Decimal, and Percent Grouping Cards. Designed especially for forming groups of three, these cards turn everyday transitions into quick, maths curriculum‑aligned learning moments. Each card features a fraction, decimal, or percent, giving students a chance to practise finding equivalents while quickly forming small random groups.

How to Use These Maths Random Grouping Cards

Getting started is simple! Here’s how to use the maths random grouping cards.

  • Print the cards on cardstock for durability, then cut them apart.
  • Remove any extra cards so the number of cards matches the number of students in your class.
  • Pass out one card to each student—no sorting or prep required.
  • Students then move around the room to find the two classmates whose cards show the equivalent fraction, decimal, and percent. These three students form a group.
    • Example:
      • 0.25
      • 25%
      • 25/100

If you have an odd number of students, simply have the extra student join any group to keep things running smoothly.
