Spooky Halloween Perimeter and Area Worksheets!

Are you on the hunt for new Maths activities to use during October? If so, you’re in the right place!

This printable activity consists of a fun haunted house colour-by-number activity. This activity is great to use during the Halloween season when your students need something extra fun to hold their attention.
The printable resource files are available in PDF and editable Google Slides format. These are designed for students in Year 5 to use as independent practise activities.

Colour-by-number worksheets are a great tool in maths centres or as take-home assignments. They’re engaging, fun, and colourful ways for students to demonstrate mastery of skills. They’re also the perfect time saver for you! Download, print, and take back some of that planning time!

How to Use Your Area and Perimeter Worksheet

These resources are a breeze to use! Simply make your copies, hand them out, and give your students colouring supplies. This worksheet requires students to find the area and perimeter of a series of rectangles to generate a colour code. Once they’ve completed that step, they transfer the code to their colour-by-number sheet to complete the picture.
