Imagine If You Were A Sloth – Writing Template for Kids

The Teach Starter office has gone sloth crazy! What’s not to love about these gorgeous creatures? In this fun craft and writing template – students have to imagine what they would do if they were a sloth. You’ll be surprised how engaged your students will be in their writing when they get to imagine what life would be like if they were a cute animal… like a sloth!

✂️ Give Them the (Safety) Scissors

This template makes for a bonus cutting skills activity, depending on your students’ ages and abilities.

With adult supervision, cutting skills help students work multiple muscle groups and their brains, plus:

  • strengthen finger and hand muscles
  • build dexterity and fine motor skills
  • improve hand-eye coordination
  • develop focus and attention.

And all of these skills are necessary to use a pencil and a fork; button a shirt and tie shoes; write, type and swipe.

Scissor skills are brain and muscle skills!

Download & Print

Once you download the PDF version of this template, print it on thick card so that you can display your students’ creations without damaging them!
