There are millions of different types of bacteria that are found almost everywhere in the world. There is good and bad bacteria.

Did you know? There is an estimated five nonillion bacteria in the world. That’s 5,000,000,000,000,000,000,0,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000.

Goodies

Good bacteria can be found in foods such as yoghurt and cheese, in the soil to help plants grow and living on or inside our bodies. They fight the bad bacteria for us and mostly live inside our digestive systems.

Baddies

Bad bacteria can make us very sick and can sometimes spread to other people. It also
attacks animals, trees and plants. Bad bacteria is responsible for infections in sores and cuts and food poisoning.
