Multiples of a Number

Are you looking for some maths decor to add to your classroom? Teach Starter has created a set of skip-counting posters that list the multiples of 1 through 12. This number display was designed with a muted rainbow theme in mind. Each number lists the multiples in sequential order so students can reference them when solving problems involving:

  • multiplication
  • division
  • common factors
  • and more!

How to Make the Most of Your Skip Counting Posters

  1. Print the posters, cut out each number, and display them in your classroom for students to reference when doing independent work.
  2. Print the posters, slip them into a clear sleeve, and use them in your guided groups as a reminder.
  3. Print the posters, slide them into a clear sleeve, and hang them on a ring as a reference tool for a maths kit.

We’ve also come up with bonus ways to turn posters into interactive tools that really make your lessons stick!

📂 Place copies in students’ homework folders for reference.

💻 Provide posters as digital resources for virtual students.

🧠 Test students’ memories by showing them the poster, then hiding it and having them tell you the multiples of a given number.

✅ Incorporate posters into your lesson wrap-up: students write on a sticky note what they learned from the lesson and place it on the poster.

Hi, I love this resource as a poster or to use an investigation activity for children learning a particular times table or inversion (how many 7's are there in 56 etc). Is it possible for this resource to include multiples for 11 and 12 too please so that it fits the new national curriculum in the UK? Many thanks
