Using Our Place Value Template Set 

Our place value slider template set is easy to print and use. Here is how!

  1. Print the place value chart of your choice on cardboard, then laminate it. Cut on the dotted lines to create openings for the ‘sliders.’
  2. Next, print, cut out and laminate the place value slider of your choice.
  3. When ready to use, weave the sliders into the openings of the place value charts, starting from the back. Sliders should move left and right easily once installed.
  4. Give finished sliders to students and use them to demonstrate multiplying and dividing by powers of ten!

Blank sliders are provided so the resource can be used with any numbers you like.
