  • Student recording sheet
  • Answer sheet

Multiple Uses for These Grammar Review Task Cards

While these task cards make a great independent learning activity, they can be used in lots of other ways, too! Read on for some suggestions from our teacher team:

  • Whole-Class Jeopardy Game – Organise task cards by difficulty or topic and assign point values. Play a Jeopardy-style game where students pick questions and answer for points. This game adds a fun, competitive edge to reviewing grammar.
  • Corners Game – Use the multiple-choice cards to play a game of Corners. Label the classroom corners A, B and C. Read a grammar question with three multiple-choice answers. Students move to the corner that represents their answer. This game adds movement and discussion to grammar review.
  • Scoot Game – Place a grammar task card at each desk. Students rotate around the room, answering each card within a set time frame. At the signal, they move to the next card until they’ve completed them all. This game is fast-paced and keeps students energised while reviewing grammar concepts.
