Who would have thought that having teaching-specific Google slides available to download would have teachers fist-pumping with excitement! Although Google slides were a thing before distance learning – they have certainly become more popular over the last couple of months!

This whole distance learning is certainly something they don’t prepare you for in college. But, to make it a little easier for you, we’ve started to convert some of our popular printable resources into Google Slide templates ready for you to download and use in your lessons. We now have over 200 resources that are perfect to use when teaching virtually. And do you want to know the best news? We are going to continue converting so you have a plethora of google slide templates to use during the entire school year!

How Do You Use Google Slides in Google Classroom?

The best part about our step-by-step instructions about using Google Slides in Google Classroom is that there isn’t any time spent explaining the ‘how to’ in regards to the design and creation of Google Slides. That’s because we’ve already done the hard work for you with our collection of beautifully designed Google Slides ready to go!

All you have to do is:

  1. Download the Google Slide resource.
  2. Make a copy.
  3. Create an assignment in Google Classroom.
  4. Add the Google Slide from your Google Drive.
  5. Make a copy for each student.
  6. Assign!

As back to school looms, we have made it a priority to convert some of our helpful back-to-school resources into Google Slides to help teachers. Our Back to School – Meet the Teacher PowerPoint Template is the perfect editable PowerPoint to use during a ‘Meet the Teacher’ or ‘Back-to-School Parent Information’ event, even if it may happen virtually!


A morning message is a great way to communicate daily announcements to your students and helps set a positive tone for the day.
