Celebrate All Types of Families in the Classroom

As the world is changing, the idea of a ‘family’ is changing as well. Many children grow up without the typical idea of a ‘mother’ or ‘father’. Some are raised by foster parents; some are raised by grandparents. It’s important to have a safe and inclusive classroom where every student can celebrate a special bond in their life on Father’s Day.

We can feel the bond from a father in our uncles, our brothers, and our coaches. As teachers, we show the bond of a father to our students when we support them in their challenges or celebrate their victories. This resource allows your students to celebrate this bond in whatever way they like.
