Alphabet Anchor Charts with Images

These printable letter posters are perfect for your primary grade classroom, whether you teach single sounds in alphabetical order or introduce sounds based on a school-selected scope and sequence.

These lowercase and uppercase letters are perfect to accompany your way of teaching sounds and phonics in your classroom. Each picture has been carefully selected so as not to confuse early readers. For example, the ‘x’ posters use words such as “box” and “fox” to represent the most common sound the letter X will make in a word. Also, vowels have images/words selected based on their short sound.

How to Make the Most of Your Alphabet Anchor Chart Set

  1. Print the posters on letter paper and create a large Alphabet display in your classroom for students to reference when doing independent work.
  2. Print the posters on letter paper, slip them into a clear sleeve and use it in your guided groups as a reminder.
