Force and Motion Games for Elementary Students

If you’re looking for an engaging way to review forces and motion vocabulary with your students (with just a dash of healthy competition thrown into the mix as well!), then look no further than Teach Starter’s forces and motion Bingo game!

So, how does this engaging forces and motion game work?

Imagine traditional Bingo, but instead of numbers, the Bingo game boards feature a range of force and motion vocabulary terms. As the teacher, you step into the role of the “caller” and read out definitions or descriptions of these terms using the cards provided. Players, armed with their Bingo game boards, mark off the corresponding squares when they recognize the matching term. The objective is simple: be the first to achieve five squares in a row, whether horizontally, vertically, or diagonally, and call out “Bingo!” to claim victory.

The forces and motion vocabulary terms included in this resource are: force, friction, gravity, magnetism, motion, pull, push, attract, repel, at rest, position, work.

The download includes:

  • Teacher instructions
  • 25 Bingo game boards
  • 24 calling cards
  • Answers

The file can be accessed as either an easy-print PDF or as an editable Google Slides file.

So what are you waiting for? Grab a set of counters, our Bingo game boards and calling cards, and your students, and start playing forces and motion Bingo today!
