New School Year, New Learning Goals!

Kick off the new school year with new learning goals in your classroom! This mountain-themed printable template isn’t just easy to add to your lesson plans and awfully cute. The simple layout and mountain imagery offer students the support they need to craft personalized and achievable learning goals for a new school year.

Available as a free PDF in color or in black and white, this teacher-created template provides space for students to write 3 shortened versions of their learning goals at the top of the page and a second section at the bottom to elaborate on each goal.

Students can then fold the paper in half and stick it in the back of their workbooks or journals so the top section of the template can be unfolded and seen while working.

  2. By the end of the first term, I will improve my reading fluency from 80 words per minute to 95 words per minute. I will read for 20 minutes every day to meet my goal.
  3. I want to be more organized this year. To meet my goal, I will keep my papers in my binder instead of stuffing them into my desk.
