🪐 What Are the Planets of Our Solar System?

Are your students learning about our solar system, the Sun, and the planets? This mini-book collection can be the perfect addition to your unit or science center. With this download, you will get 8 different mini-books, one for each planet. Each mini-book follows a similar format and covers topics such as:

  • Location
  • Features
  • Atmosphere
  • Length of day & year
  • Discovery
  • Comparison to Earth
  • Interesting facts
  • Writing prompts

Through this activity, students will show they can identify the planets in Earth’s solar system and their position in relation to the Sun. Additionally, students will demonstrate understanding of nonfiction texts through various comprehension questions.
