Spot the Fire Dog Wants to Help Teach Fire Safety, Too!
We’re excited to share our newest Fire Prevention Week craft template! This adorable Spot the Fire Dog craft activity is designed to help students showcase what they’ve learned about fire safety while having a blast creating their own furry, four-legged firehouse companion. With easy-to-follow instructions and cut-and-paste elements, students can assemble Spot and share their learning with his special collection of fire safety dog bones.
Students will only need pencils, crayons, scissors, and glue to make this craft. To assemble Spot, students will
- Color and cut out Spot, his hat, and his dog bones.
- Write one rule or fact you have learned about preventing fires or staying safe in a fire on each bone.
- Glue on Spot’s ears where marked. Glue his hat on his head.
- Tape the rectangular strip of paper behind Spot’s chin.
- Glue the individual dog bones along the strip of paper so they hang below Spot’s chin.
