Because of their properties, some materials are better suited for different purposes. This Matter and Energy experiment allows students to investigate what materials are more water resistant than others.
Students follow the scientific method to conduct the experiment and complete the worksheets provided. By the end, they should be able to draw conclusions about which materials would make a suitable raincoat.
