Halloween is creeping around the corner, and what better way to celebrate than by adding a dash of spooktacular grammar to your first-grade curriculum? Our printable Halloween Adjective Worksheets are here to make language learning so much fun your students will be bewitched into improving their writing skills.

These printable Halloween activities for primary grades are perfect for infusing a little Halloween spirit into your daily Language Arts lessons. There are two variations for each of the following; 

  • Witch Adjectives Worksheet
  • Haunted House Adjectives Worksheet
  • Skeleton Adjective Worksheet

Differentiated Halloween Printables for Kids

Created at two levels for varying needs, these worksheets have the following variations:

  • Variation 1: Write five adjectives about a witch/haunted house/skeleton. Using adjectives, they will then write sentences about a witch/haunted house/skeleton. Lastly, draw a picture of their witch/haunted house/skeleton matching the adjectives.
  • Variation 2: Students will write four adjectives about a witch/haunted house/skeleton. Then, use adjectives to write a sentence about a witch/haunted house/skeleton. Lastly, draw a picture of their witch/haunted house/skeleton matching the adjectives.
